Good afternoon, all. Just wanted to tell everyone about the exciting new classes being hosted at Craftland this coming month.
Upcoming, Sep 24th, we have How to Wind a Bobbin, and other Adventures in Basic Sewing where you will learn the ins and outs of your sewing machine like proper threading, bobbin winding, tension, and common trouble shooting techniques all while creating your very own half apron.
Next on Sep 28th, we have the Self Massage & Yoga Stretches for Crafters class guided by licensed massage therapist, Stephanie Farrar. You will learn how to keep your hands, wrists, and back pain free this holiday crafting season!
The month of October kicks off with Blog Your Hobby class. In this class you will learn from veteran blogger, Olivia Lane of OlivaCleansGreen.com, how to navigate a simple free blogger platform so you can share your hobby with the cyber world!
As mid October rolls around we introduce our first Halloween themed class, Halloween Monster Mask Creation taught by Costume Designer, Cara Adams. Learn step by step how to make your very own shaggy monster headdress using recycled materials. The class will finish with a brainstorming session focused on how you can create this years costume cheaply.
Then, on October 19th, Olivia Lane will teach a DIY Body Butter & More class where you will be taught how to make lip balm, body butter, and sugar scrub using natural, organic, and fair trade ingredients!
Finally, our last October class will be less of a class and more of a jam...a pumpkin carving jam to be precise! Come hangout, listen to some Halloween music complements of local DJ, DJ Rockdapus, and enjoy some spooky treats and drinks. Carving will be guided by Cara Adams , Costume Designer. Pumpkins and stencils will be provided, so just bring your pretty selves!
